Lawrence & Schiller’s public safety team and the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety were recently honored with a pair of bronze Telly Awards at the 38th annual competition.
The award-winning, impactful ads – online videos created for the Office of Highway Safety’s “Lesson Learned” safe-driving campaign – were relevant, unforgettable and honest.
The videos featured real South Dakota teens engaged in interactive scenarios, which highlighted the dangers of drunk driving and driving without a seatbelt.
The “Lesson Learned” videos represent another example of the team at L&S adapting its broadcast capabilities and story-centric messaging to fit with the target audience and find them where they are – which is online.
The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring excellence in local, regional and cable TV commercials. It is one of the most sought-after awards by industry leaders, from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies. The Telly Awards, on average, receive over 13,000 entries each year from all 50 states and five continents.
