Lawrence & Schiller Clients Win International Advertising Awards

Television ads and online videos created by Lawrence & Schiller for South Dakota Department of Tourism, Taco John’s and South Dakota Office of Highway Safety are receiving top honors from the 36th annual Telly Awards. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding TV commercials and programs.

South Dakota Office of Highway Safety is the winner of a silver Telly Award in the public service category for the commercial entitled “Motorcycle Max”. In the travel and tourism category, South Dakota Department of Tourism has earned a bronze Telly Award for “Your American Journey”. Taco John’s receives a bronze Telly for the “Summer of Tacos” commercial.

The Telly Awards annually showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. Judges rate each entry on a 10-point scale. Entries earning a score of 9.0 or higher, are award the Silver Telly. This year’s awards received over 12,000 entries nationally and across several countries.
