It’s a wrap: helping casinos make their mark on air travelers


In the fast-paced world of advertising, every brand strives to stand out. Whether it means utilizing a unique medium, developing a clever creative concept or hitting the audience at the perfect moment, every marketer strives to make their message one that their audience will remember. The team working with Liv Hospitality saw a perfect opportunity to take advantage of all three of these strategies.

Our solution: baggage belt wraps at the Rapid City Regional Airport. We initially presented the medium as a perfect place to hit our targeted audience of travelers flying into the area. As we moved into concepting, we received exciting news – the South Dakota State Legislature passed an amendment allowing craps and roulette to come to Deadwood as of July 1, 2015.

With that in mind, we decided to let travelers know that they can play both newly permitted games at Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort and Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort by wrapping the entire baggage belt as a roulette wheel. Installation of the wraps was completed the day before craps and roulette went live in Deadwood. Talk about perfect timing!
