How do you get the attention of active, 25 to 35 year old males, an audience that typically doesn’t respond to traditional advertising? Insert yourself into conversations they’re already having where they already are: social media, online videos and websites.
That’s exactly what we did for the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development, using trending topics to get the attention of out-of-state men and encourage them to look for jobs in SD. From dogs wearing pants to water on Mars, we interacted with Millennials using conversations at the top of their minds while sharing South Dakota career opportunities. Our social efforts yielded above average results for our extraordinary state.
