Digital Developer
Lawrence & Schiller is seeking a front-end developer to work with a wide range of clients and technologies. The ideal candidate is someone who has immense passion for the Internet and a strong desire to help concept and develop our clients' online marketing strategy. The ability to tackle a wide variety of projects with overlapping production schedules and deadlines is a must.Core responsibilities of this position include developing and maintain web sites, micro-sites, widgets, social media and mobile applications. Additional duties would include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, data analysis, database development, Q/A testing, HTML email development and client support.
NOTE: One year of experience is preferred. This is NOT a design position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Development Knowledge:- Advanced HTML/CSS skills.
- Medium to advanced JavaScript / jQuery skills.
- Cross-browser development, code optimization and reuse.
- Knowledge of at least one server-side scripting language such as ASP.NET, ColdFusion or PHP.
- Mobile development experience is a plus.
- Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases experience is a plus.
- Excellent debugging, logic processing skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with all Internet related applications such as e-mail, ftp clients and web browsers.
- Understanding of SEO and trends.
- Have a strong desire to learn as well as the ability to teach others.
- Work in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with the following are preferred by not required: Adobe Dreamweaver CS5+/ColdFusion Builder, Adobe Flash Professional CS5+, Adobe Photoshop CS5+, Adobe Encore and SQL Server Management Studio.
